Welcome to North Park Tennis Club

NPTC is a small tennis club located on the Cnr of Fleminton Rd/Elliott Ave and is nestled in the park lands of Royal Park Gardens on the boundaries of Parkville, North Melbourne and Flemington approx 3 kilometers from the CBD. Easy access by Trams 57 or 59 via Flemington Road, just hop off at Melrose Street. 

The club comprises 3 synthetic grass courts and is available for play during the day or evening play under lights. Courts are regularly available for social play for both members and non-members. We have very competitive court hire rates for both day and evening play. Bookings can be made at Melrose Cellars, 90 Melrose Street, North Melbourne. ID will be required to obtain a court key.

For those players interested in more than social play, the club fields competition sides in the North Suburban Night Tennis Association (NSNTA) and the North Suburban Junior Tennis Association (NSJTA). Competition ranges from Ladies (Tuesday night), Mixed (Wednesday night) Mens (Thursday night) and Juniors (Saturday morning). If you are keen to join one of the teams, please contact Vince Micallef (Competition Teams Manager) for more details. Only financial members will be able to play in a competition team.

If you are thinking of joining the club, come down for a social hit on Club Night - each Monday from 7pm onwards. Talk to one of the other members and have a great hit.

To become a member of North Park Tennis Club Inc. please complete a Membership Registration form. Memberships are for the financial year 1 July to 30 June. Family membership entitlement is two adults plus up to two children under 18 years of age.  A single junior membership is also available to children under 18 years of age. Membership fees are as follows:

With your application please enclose:

1 x stamped self-addressed envelope

1 x passport size photograph per applicant
(Please don’t provide your old membership card photo, as the thicker photo with plastic attached is very difficult to pass through the heat sealing machine).

Please pay by cheque or money order and make these payable to North Park Tennis Club Inc. Complete the application form in block letters and return this with your payment, photograph(s) and envelope to:
